Sorry for watching it in advance guys. I foresee heavy workload on Monday so I couldn't afford an offer of watching it on Saturday. Heh.

Well anyway, the feeling was almost like watching The Gospel of Judas on National Geographic. But way more intense than that, obviously because this was a controversial film masquarading as a thriller. Nevertheless, do not believe in movie reviews. I mean, come one, most of the reviews made are by Christians, so you get my drift. It's just like those reviews of V for Vendetta. They're all slaves of government, so to keep their asses safe, they do a terrible review for one of the most revolutionary films that held the most meaningful idea of getting over oppression.

I'm studying to be someone in the media industry.
But no matter how many arguments we've made to go against certain ideas in school, we know that our voices would not be heard when we enter the real business. Face it, even right now in school, majority of kids are purely fakes sucking up to either the lecturers or group leaders or any other authority figures that own absolute privilege in dafaming them.

The key here is to be a complete suck up, be a mediocre and still get praises.

But if there's someone in the room with a fresher idea, stand up for his or her own rights, this person would just be considered a loud mouth.

If you're Christian or Muslim or any religion for that matter, yes, you might be offended of materials (even though it's freaking fiction) that contradict what you've been brought up to believe, but think about it. You have also been brought up to think and believe that yours is the ONLY right path to God or to heaven so isn't there already a flaw in your part? To not accept that different people have different faith.

I'm sick of those Chritians writing in to the papers on how this movie would delude the minds of young Chritians or influence them into changing faith, etc. And I'm sick of the fact that when there are REAL cowards with inadequate knowledge of Islam, deem it as a bad religion, one that promotes violence and that only claims to be a peaceful one but always killing others, with depictions through cartoons, protests, websites (this is a public domain, virtually anyone can read this. Take a look at www.antimuslims.blogspot.com) etc. BUT THERE ARE FEWER COMPLAINTS OF SUCH CRUELTY AND WRONGFUL ACCUSATIONS AS COMPARED TO COMPLAINTS MADE OVER A FUCKIN FICTIONAL MOVIE.

WTF.

And I'm sick to my stomach of Muslims who commit sins and then when bad things happen to them, their answer is "It's God's fate" or when someone does something not to their liking, they would blame it on Satan. Blame it on others not on oneself - this seems to be a favourable moto especially amongst people of the older generation who are dying and only praying last minute, where they can be redeemed and sent to heaven. Why? cos they're counting the days til they're swiped off the face of this Earth.

Fuck that. I admit I've committed a lot of sins but I've never blame it on God when things go wrong. All this stupid Asian mindset of Islam and how they manipulate it so much to cater to their fuckin traditions. And when the young do not want to follow such traditions, they would say we're not following the religion. For fuck's sakes, you've been misled. Not us. You taught us all the extreme knowledge of Islam and you skip certain pages in the Quran so we would view things your way. What is this? I quit religious school cos the freakin rules of Islam in ASIAN RELIGIOUS CLASSES are not made by the writings of the Quran. They were just rules to abide to so these people can have a feeling of power. Everywhere you go, it's the same, everyone when given the power of authority would eventually abuse it. I went to class every Sunday to learn what Islam is but whenever i question, they told me to shut up because we are not allowed to question what God has given us. And when I come and stand for assembly, a male Muslim teacher would look me up and down, saying that he is only doing a job of checking whether or not our uniforms are in place.

You are fuckin sexually oppressed and you're looking at pre teen girls in tudungs, completely covered head to toe, in a very inappropriate way and you say you're checking the uniform? You tell girls to not do this or that, to not clip your nails, wash your hair when you have your period, to not do alot of unhygienic matters when you're bleeding down there, and the reason you give is its simply what God wants of you. Then tell me why in other modules, you would emphasise the importance of good hygiene in Islam. You tell me that when a woman gets raped or molested, it is mostly their fault due to the way they dress. You tell me that if my dad wants to remarry after divorce, he is free to do so but if my mom needs a companion after being left by her husband for another woman, my mom is not entitled to happiness with another man. You tell me that when we have a family, the breadwinner must be the husband and that I must follow everything he says. You tell me all these things that make me so unhappy being a female, you broke my faith.

Traditions are just rituals done over and over again to make it a norm among a group of people. They are not to be confused with rituals done in the name of God. So why do these Asians still jumble them all up and asume that (eg) giving away eggs at weddings is a must for Malay Muslims? And in Singapore, what the fuck is wrong with people tagging everyone who is Malay as being Muslim. And then when there's a white Muslim, they would be act surprised and still ask if these people fast or pray or do as what Muslims do?

Are they really that dumb? Why be so ignorant of people's beliefs and yet feel the need to insult them? WHY? Is it because you love to see a definite flaw in our belief so that it makes you feel good into thinking that yours is the right one? It's pathetic. You go to church every Sunday and that makes you a staunch Christian who has a right to deem other religions wrong? You pray five times a day as a Muslim and that gives you the right to tell men that they can have 4 wives if they want?

You can only have 4 wives if you are rich enough and can afford to be fair to all. But think again, if you were to spend equal amount of everything with each wife, there are 7 days in a week. Tell me now if 7 is an odd or even number. Don't tell me that you stupid Singaporean Malay man who have no more than $2000 monthly income, visits brothels every weekend with your horny buddies at Batam can afford 4 wives and have equal amount of sex, equal time spent, equal money for each wife's kids, etc. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY. Equality does not exist.

You're trying to use this stupid privilege for a person with a penis, just so it would benefit you and your perverted ways. Your horniness, shall I call it. Remember that report on the Muslim teacher who had like 10 wives and fucks all his daughters and claim that it felt wrong but he still had to do it? FUCK YOU. You're a shameless pervert who abused the power of being a husband and a father to all those women who trusted you (mainly due to their lack of education) and expect everyone else to think in the same wavelength as you? As how you perceived Islam? That is no longer Islam. Islam never taught you incest nor does it promote multiple marriages.

Brainless. We should all just buy an English version of the Quran or in whatever language you are most comfortable in and read what Islam really is.

You are no more than just a coward hick when you judge people without hard facts and it's even worse when you manipulate hard facts to cater to your desires.
