30th April 1987
The date Feroze McLeod was born.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Got him the Hurley-like jacket he had always wanted. He was so elated.
And then I bought him a much needed slave flash, which was according to him the most perfect gift he'd ever had. His reaction - "Oh fuck, Oh my God, oh shit.. Oh fuck, Oh my God.. Oh fuck... You are so thoughtful! Why are you so smart?!!"
Its a not only a twin flash, it comes with the stand that can be attached to your camera. He kept opening up the box repeatedly to check out his new toy.
:D
But the last surprise that I got him left him almost crying. Weee!
No I do not get satisfaction by crying boys.
Robert Smith was wrong.
I told our friends' band Hear Me Toby who were playing at Home club last night to wish him a very happy birthday, tell him I love him very much and pass him the birthday card signed by all of us.
They even did something extra as to thank him for all the clothes he makes and sang a tune of "I can't live without you" which was pretty gay considering Suhayl was the vocalist. Anyway, I think that was the song title, forgive me if it wasn't :) And thank you again Zad for goin through all that trouble!
Love you Feroze. I'm really sorry bout today. I hope you enjoyed your first time birthday celebration with a girlfriend! HEH! And I'm very proud you're a Snow City photographer. HAHA.
New design for Paris In The Making comes in 2 different color combo done by the birthday boy (not sold yet, it'll be launched together with PITM album).

Was at the Green Grass Screening at Youth Park and caught only A Vacant Affair to record their performance. Initial plan was to video it properly with 3 cameras and edit to make a good music video but the third camera man couldn't make it and we were too late to pick up the HDV cam at Feroze's dad's. Ignorant organisers pushing their slot to 5pm didn't help either. But thank God it rained only after they played. Haha karma.
Here is a very nice photo Arman, the Tribune (campus newspaper) designer, took of A Vacant Affair guitarists at the event.

I heard that the local film, Green Grass, was very badly done. haha. *phew* That avoided me from wasting time watching it. Heh.
Good news - finished all homework except for Fact Sheet for Print Journalism.
Bad news - Granddad hospitalised due to heart attack. I love you Yai. I gave him hugs and kisses. I think the last time I did that was the first day of Hari Raya. I should do it often. He looked so happy when we embraced. And I'll pray he will be fine.
I really don't wanna cry.
