Tired.
So tired.
Just got back from a chalet at Pasir Ris Costa Sands for Owen's birthday. Finally our very own emokid friend turns 18! wooo!
Friday
I was at The Third Place since 2pm for the Aviery music video, apparently there were only 2 Panasonic DV cameras so I was left doing the lighting and sound while Shahida and Ikay did their camera work. They did individual shots of the band members without the keyboardist and Shahida and I ordered McDonald's after being starved and eating stolen Milo powder and pinching each others' breasts and bums :D
The gig started at about 7plus with opening band, Love At First Fight, and their set was pretty good I must say. Didn't mosh, was still doing lighting. Its fun ok, making the lights flash to the beat and rhythm of the music. You can say, I was some sorta visual DJ in a club.
Then after the 2nd and 3rd bands played, which I forgot what they were called, AVIERY conquered the stage! And since Phil from Caracal wanted to do the lights, I was free to enjoy in the pit and stand in front of the cameras! Wee! Fucken hell man, Sky In Euphoria's set was way way more happening then the mundane one at Far East Square and I almost lost my left hip cos some bugger swung his body and elbowed it. Bodoh, don't know how to windmill, DON'T muthafucka.
The pain...excruciating.
After them, Hamartia tried to over do their set and shit, the crowd went even crazier. I fell on the floor, cowering, with my arms covering my head and I was fuckin sure there was a stampede. SHIOKINGNESOIS. Moshing never felt so life threateningly good!
And I was the only girl in the pit. Take that.
Ok, enough of trying to impress my boyfriend into thinking that I'm her little hardcore girl who's as tough as nails.
*sniggers*
I am still in pain til now.
Saturday
With hardlly much rest, we went to IJ aka The Sauna to catch Munchies At 9 and instead what we got was.. hahahaha.. get this, a band called Mulisa with my old buddy from Greenview, Ghalid, as the drummer and Feroze's ex-girlfriend as the back-up vox!
Its no wonder my darl scooted off when they went upstage. And I thought it was due to their odd dressing (a desperate attempt to capture crowd's attention and compensate how bad the screaming was.Urgh). The fat male guitarist was scantily clad in an almost translucent short sundress with a black strapless bra over it. Not beneath, OVER.
The male vox and bassist were wearing schoolgirl outfits. I can't remember what the other guitarist wore, maybe not as kinky ahahha. The drummer was wearing a mask, much more hideous and so not cool looking like Vendetta's. Thus, I didn't realise it was Ghalid til after their set was over. HAH. Paiseh.
The Ex wore something she claimed as a "geisha outfit". Yeah right, I for one, reads a lot about Japanese culture, have read and watched Memoirs Of A Geisha PLUS used to be a fan of Samurai X and I know for a fact that, that ain't no geisha outfit, sweety.
*smirks*
They covered Hand of Blood by Bullet for My Valentine, You Know Who's Seatbelt..blablabla.. by The Bled, 2 other songs we didn't catch cos we were outside struggling to find our friends (crowded uh). The last song was Boy Brushed Red..blablabla by Underoath and I ran in to sacrifice myself in a pit once again (my boyfriend says I'm stubborn and should never be near a moshpit. Ever). As I was screaming into the mic which the male vox kept shoving towards me, I saw a guy with the drummer's mask ponting a punkrock sign with his fingers.
Turns out, it was Siti, my friend from Munchies. WAHAHAHHAHA. Cute sia.
Had fun but overall the waiting was a bore and when Munchies finally played, we were quite lost cos it has been a LONG time since we saw them played. The last time Feroze saw them was at an RP gig 2 years ago? The last I saw them was at town, around 2 years ago too, I think. They changed a lot including the drummer. WAHAHAHHA. UH-DUH.
Poor Shadie (He's Sammy's bro and Sammy's Dyna Turmoil's guitarist). He's the new dummer when previously it was Zad.
It was hilarious how we both kinda forgot his name so Feroze decided to call him Rafie. WAHAHAHAH. Anyhow sia. And Rafie is my friend. My poor poor friend suffering in NS now.
After the gig, we went to buy some bottles of beer for Owen and dashed for the chalet. It was AWESOME!
They smoked weed which wasn't even WEED. WHAHAHAHA. The fella act like one big shot and got ripped the hell off for buying a tiny packet of "weed" for 50bucks. HAHA! What a loser.
Then him and his friends whom we didn't invite, got high... Over nothing!
What an embarrassment to human nature. For the record, he even mixed it with tobacco. WTF?
*sigh*
We played with a bow and arrow, which was one of the gifts Owen got hahahaah and also a palette gun. You know, those that could (FUCKIN) hurt but not kill? Yeah, back in the ol days, my friends. Back in those days, primary/secondary school boys tried to tackle our hearts by being a loser sniper at a void deck, shooting our legs.
Other than that, Feroze and I got a bit tipsy and this is the first time ever he's drunk and I wasn't. Heeeeheeee.
Cute.
We swam in the pool illegally at 3 in the freakin morning! HAHA. And got caught red-handed by the guard who actually had had dinner at the chalet room next to ours! WAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. WTF.
That fat git. How dare he said our room made a lot of noise when his was the one that was booming with stupid Reggaeton songs and lyrics only a fucking Dayak (village peopla not in touch with technology) could understand.
Sunday
I'm so tired. I think this is it guys. If I'm lucky and not lazy, I'll get them pics and post them up.
Haven't had this much CRAZY fun since the Sentosa outing man. And I love my class! hahahaha How lame did that sound?
Time for me to get some healing rest for my nimble yet sore body. (I swam 7laps in the pool before noon ok!)
Psst.. Catch Kelly Clarkson's new video "Walk Away". WAHAHAWWAHAAWAAAhh. Serious. It happens.
Ok, get your hands off my trigger.
