My weekend rocked. Yet again.
Last week was Zouk night out and a session of staring at transsexuals there.
This week was celebrating
Fadli's 18th Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
He was born on
7th July and a group of us headed to Sentosa for some water splashing and cake feast.
(By the way, I've got
no idea why that photobucket website is posted.)
But before that, I was at the airport, to see my
beloved aunt and baby cousin depart back to
London. Its gonna be sadder when my
step-sis goes off back to
Missouri next Monday morning. The house is gonna feel empty without her.
My baby cousin was freaking cute, I tell ya. If you wanna see how she looks like, check out my Friendster photo album. Maybe I'll post more there when I'm done with Field Assignment news report.
WOOOO, I'm done with Ad Analysis and kinda feeling very Creative Director-ish.
I wanna work in a Creative team for an ad agancy. Which is like so rad. Pfft.
Or maybe I'll just end up organising events and gigs. (So typical)
Oh well, back to the Sentosa trip. Yes, Sab and I were in our bikini tops and poor Su dropped her
Black Forest imitation cake *PLOP* on the mat when we moved nearer to the sea. Heck, there were two cakes anyway. haha.
Ghair bought one from Swensens! YUM,
oreo ice cream cake! His mom was sporting enough to actually pick Sab and I up from Harbor Front (where the queue to board a bus to Sentosa stretched all the way to the carpark. That packed!) So we got into the car and she even paid for the entry. Woooo!
Everything went smoothly and without Fadli knowing about the surprise birthday picnic. But he was damn late, we got a bit pissed. Don't worry, we still love him. Glad he liked the
shirt and Body Shop stuff we bought for him. HAHA. So metrosexual.
We went to Somerset to have dinner cos Su was working at Rouge that night, so Burger King was our choice and Cineleisure was the location.
After dinner, Fadli and Ghair went home cos of their
curfews (Whatever happen to guys these days?!) Syawzan went off to meet one of his friends and Sab and I were left roaming around town.
This was when the fun begins. We saw a couple of guys checking us out. Maybe cos I was wearing short shorts and she was wearing a short skirt. And we both looked out of place due to the beach-ness. There was even this guy who was walking with his girlfriend (who was fat), looking at us from top to toe and with that smirk on his face ala
Joey from Friends "How ya doing?"KIMEK! Irritating sia. I would HATE to be his girlfriend. No respect at all.
We met Lydia at town who was on the way to Boat Quay for a sheesha and also Haziq who was going to Hard Rock. He was persuading me to go club with him. HALLO! Have you seen my outfit? I don't think they allow people to club in
slippers. Duh.
After chilling at
Borders awhile, Sab and I decided to act lesbians and held hands while walking. Seriously fed up but kinda liked the attention from boys. WAHAHAHAH. I mean, it was funny how they look at you and try to get your attention with their eyes on your legs or boobs then stopped at your hands. Right after realising we were
"lesbians", they'll stare at our faces and give that quizzical look. Bewilderment I guess.
By the way Sab, Feroze and Owen thought we were a bit lesbian-y even when we weren't holding hands. haha and I think it was Owen or one of his friends who said "JOANNA I MISS YOU".
Strange people.
Then came
Maziah who talked to us about her
18th Birthday at Zouk coming Friday. Another fun weekend awaits me! I'm so lucky! hehe. She shouted "Bye lesbian couple" or somthing like that. HAHA. Cute sia. She should hold hands with Izyan. Now THAT would be cute.
Oh and THANKS jon for the
Good Charlotte tix! YEAH i'm going. Fuck those people who think they're lame. Its a rock show, go mosh in your own bedroom. Oh and Nurul, if you wanna go to
The Bravery concert, tell me.
As for
Slipknot, that's if I still have cash left after spending on
Baybeats merchandise. KIAKIAKIA.
The local media is smart.
They're targeting youths now. SO be prepared to go to MORE rock concerts. WOOHOO!
Anyway, the Saturday ended with Feroze going home with me. We were contemplating to watch a movie but due to the huge crowd at Cine and Plaza Singapura, we backed out. hah.
Thats all folks. By the way
Baybeats happening this weekend, 15th to 17th July. I'm not sure which day
My Squared Circle is playing, so stop asking. Eh, now my turn to ask, is
Dear Arson playing? No right? I wanna watch
My Precious! Can't wait to wear their tee and act all groupie.
